The North Coast College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate on-site/online/blended courses in the following disciplines:

• Art & Design Management
• Fashion Design
• Fashion Marketing
• Fashion Merchandise
• Interior Design
• Graphic Design/ web design and digital video production
• Business
• Mathematics/Statistics

Required qualifications for all faculty:

• A Master degree in a discipline or a Master degree with 15 or more graduate credits in a discipline
• At least 3 years of onsite/online/hybrid teaching experiences in higher education
• Knowledge of LMS
• Ability to design classroom instructions and activities to meet students’ learning styles, course competencies, and learning objectives
• Ability to create multimedia lesson contents to enrich student learning experiences
• Ability to engage students in interactions and increase social presence
• Ability to provide timely feedback to students and maintain open communication with students
• Ability to promote student success by inspiration and empowerment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues
• Ability to bring current real-world experiences into classrooms

Preferred qualifications for online faculty:

• Experiences in Canvas
• Online Teaching Certificate
• Knowledge of Quality Matters Standards Rubric for Higher Education
• Experiences in Web 2.0 technologies

Start date: Depending on degree approval, late 2016
